So, I'm giving away a copy of Tales of Beedle the Bard to stay true to the story of the seventh book.

  2. I've already been an avid follower of your blog & Facebook & Twitter! I'm probably going to get a lot of WTF responses for this, but I've actually never read a Harry Potter book. The reason I'm entering this giveaway is because my boyfriend is obsessed. He would adore this as a gift! I promise if I win I'll start reading them myself...

  10. I wanted to follow you, but when I click "Follow" button it says "page not found". By the way I don't even know if it's international. Is it? I am from small country in the middle of Europe - Poland.
It's really hard to choose one book. I love them all! If I have to... "Harry Potter and philospher's stone". It was first book. Then I was about 11. Good memories;). It all started with this book. It was magical and funny. We could meet these awesome characters and be invited to this magical world. It was so amazing! I can't even explain how I love all HP books. I wish Hogwart really existed! I am too old, so maybe Hogwart for adults. I would love to win this book, read it and read it to my children. I don't have them yet, but someday...
I'll be back soon and try to follow you again.

  11. I think that the third one is my favorite, for several reasons. It was the first book that I read -- I got it from my favorite Grandmother (I still have the same one, even though it looks like it went through a dishwasher).

I love it for the story itself. He finds Sirius, he finds out more about himself and his parents, about Snape and Voldemort. I love the story of Snape and Lily and this gives the first hints of the great story that is there with the intro of Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs.

Anyway, the third book is the best.

I also follow your Twitter. <3

  12. Choosing a favorite book is so difficult. However, I have to say I'm going to go with the last book, for one reason. I was certain J.K.R. was going to have to kill off all the characters in order to end the series and not be swamped with demands for more books... Instead she ended it perfectly and beautifully-- I really was surprised and impressed!

  15. my favorite book is 'order of the phoenix' because of this convo...
    sirius: "he's not your son."
molly: "he's as good as! who else as he got?"
    sirius: "he's got me!"

i know there is so much more awesome to be found but this gets me every time!

My favorite Harry Potter book is The Deathly Hallows. Even though it's bitter sweet because it's an ending in a sense it's also a new beginning. For the characters at least. Everything comes together in that book and we can see all these different complex emotions and secrets from characters we never thought we would. It's surprising in the best way. And of course, the happy ending leaves everyone with a smile on their face.
    Great giveaway!

    ANYWHO:

Picking a favorite Harry Potter book is like trying to pick a favorite child--it's nearly impossible because I love all of them for different reasons and they're all unique and special in their own way. BUT if I were forced at wandpoint by a Death Eater to give an answer, I'd have to say #4, The Goblet of Fire. For several reasons: first of all, it's THE pivotal book. Sure, all of them are really important, but this is the book where He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is resurrected, this is the book when things get serious, this is the book when the Hogwarts Bubble is ruptured and the worlds inside and outside the school start to fuse. On a less serious note, I also love this book because in my mind it gives you the best insight into the amazing world that J.K. Rowling has created, and I literally mean WORLD. Here we get to see the Quidditch World Cup AND the Tri-Wizard Tournament, and things go International. We start to form a map in our heads of a wizarding world that is as complex and diverse as our own, and I think this makes the series so much more real.

Anyway, that was my long-butt explanation. Really, I could go on and on. Keep blogging and have fun at the premiere tonight :)

This is such a difficult question but I think I like the Deathly Hallows the best because of the way it develops Snape's character. After this book he became one of my favourite characters.
