New Feature: Apartment DIYs?

Firstly, this IS going to be a new feature, but I need help thinking of a title for it! So, input is requested and appreciated! I'm thinking it'll end up being "DIY: Apartment Edition" (thanks, Mary Rebecca! <3)

Most of them will be decor related, but not all. Here are just a few that I've found on Pinterest (duh) today.

This first one is one I wanted to try before I had my own apartment just because detergent is SO expensive: DIY laundry soap!


Next, this AWESOME frame decoration. Awesome frames are a dime a dozen at thrift stores, but awesome art is not. This would be a perfect way to put some frames to use on our bare (white) walls.


Also, my new room is relatively small, so I can't fit a huge bed frame. I thought this would be an awesome idea for a makeshift headboard to spiff up my boring walls. I would probably do something other than white since my walls are white, but this would make an awesome feature in my room :) 


 Also, I don't know where I would put these felt pom-poms, but they are SO cute. And I think they would be even CUTER in jewel tones. EEP!

    For the headboard idea, since you love red...you might want to wait until after Christmas and get solid strands of red christmas lights to put in there. After Christmas they should all be half off or even cheaper :)
