Bloggin' Ladies: Pixie Mama

Tuesday again! Time for this week's Bloggin' Ladies post. This is the first post in the series of nominated ladies. I am so excited to feature Polly's blog!

Name+Age+Site/Blog
I’m Polly, I’m 29 and I blog over at   PixieMama

Why did you begin blogging?
To sort out all the thoughts that were swirling around in my head! I needed somewhere to put down all that I was feeling and thinking whilst I was fighting a bout of depression. It’s grown into a blog about my life, my crafting with a little bit of inspirattion thrown in!

How long have you been blogging?
I started my blog at the beginning of the year, but it’s really only been the last 3 months that I’ve been blogging regularly and working on my blog

Who is your inspiration for writing?
Myself. As a busy mother of 3, it’s nice to have something that’s just ‘mine’.

Where do you get your ideas?
In bed, making dinner, doing the housework.... anywhere and everywhere! Ideas come and if I can’t get to a computer straight away I keep a notebook with me to write my ideas down as they appear!

What is something interesting about you?
I’d never intended to have children at all... Now I have 3 daughters and I couldn’t imagine it any other way!

Do you have any advice that you want to share with fellow lady bloggers?
Be true to yourself. Take inspiration, but don’t try and be like someone else. Find your own voice and what works for you. Decide what you want your blog to be. Blog because you love it, and don’t worry about stats or how many followers you have or how many comments you get.

What is one thing you are looking forward to most in your future (blog or otherwise)?
Turning 30 next year.... I’m happy to be leaving my 20s behind and feeling more confident in my own skin. Plus seeing my girls grow and change.

[Thanks, Polly!]
