Monday!

Today went really fast at school, and I realized that tuition was due today, so I got really worried about my MIA loan check. I was so worried that Holly made me leave early to go down to UC and check out the situation. Thankfully, everything was okay, and it should be here within the next week. I spent a lot of time in the line, however, at the Pavillion, waiting for my turn with a counselor. Luckily! I had my trusty Kindle with me to keep me busy :)

Then, when I got home, Guillermo and I took a quick walk. Nick and I are trying to train him to go outside for pottying. A little late, I know, but better late than never? We wanted to wait until his little sprained leg healed, but it is looking like that's going to be a longterm thing. No matter how hard we try to keep him immobile, he is a puppy and can't seem to stay off his foot! We are hoping that it heals soon. This is what we spend a couple of hours this afternoon doing:

The kids' research papers were due today, of course I only got about a third of them, but that was enough to keep us (I say us as if Guillermo did any more than keep me company ;) ) busy from two to four today.

Then! I got a phone call from UC saying they want to set up an interview for their telephones next week. This is a god send because it's a 3-9 hour per week situation, and I can (potentially) keep Family Video. I have been getting $50 paychecks, and this is simply not getting the job done. Unfortunately, this means that I am going to have to live off of my loan refund money this quarter (or more) and I really didn't want to do that. Oh, well. Hopefully I get this little second job and it will help out a lot! On the same note, I should be getting paid out for all of the hours I have spent on OGT tutoring this quarter, and that will help a lot, too. Speaking of which, I have had a few more students attending these sessions, which is great! It is nice when this happens because these are kids that really want to learn and actually put effort in during these three hours per week. So refreshing.

I will leave you kiddos with some pictures from last night, and another post is to come - the Autumn feature :) Check back later tonight for that, and don't forget to support me by clicking the little "follow" button at the top of the page! Thanks, all!!
