Harry Potter Challenge v.1

If you know Krysten over at Why Girls Are Weird, you will know that she began a 30 day Harry Potter challenge on Sunday. If you know me (which you do), you will know that I am obsessed with HP. How could I not ask her to get in on that shiz? I couldn't not. That's how.

Krysten and I were paired up in the Cold Hands, Warm Hears swap this year, and it turns out we have a ton in common! Anyways, she gave me the link yesterday and we are excited to see how similar our posts are! From now on, I'll be posting these on Sundays just like Krysten (as not to be influenced by her posts) and here is day one....

Day 1 - Your favorite of the seven books. It just so happens that Krysten and I have the same favorite book. Why is GoF my favorite? Because it's the first book in the series in which things really start to unfold. The story takes on so many new layers in this book, and you really start to understand the heaviness of Harry's journey. I'll stop me analysis there for you all ;)

If I had to choose a second, it would definitely be the Half-Blood Prince. Definitely.

Happy Monday! <3

My favourite is Prisoner of Azkaban... shortly followed by any chapter in any book in which backstory is given and things are explained to Harry... I do love Goblet of Fire though. I've read it so much my book is in three pieces where parts have fallen out...

Hi by the way! I'm Robyn, and I've been following you for a while :-) Love what you post!

  2. Ohhh exciting. I just started reading Harry Potter this fall and am on GOF right now! :) It's my before bed reading so the going is slow, but I hope to make my way through the series over winter break and then I'll allow myself to watch the films. I'll look forward to more of these posts! :)

  5. This is what I get for being so behind on blog reading! I want in on this crazy fun HP posting! The Order of the Phoenix is my favorite book. I just love the way the students really decide that this fight is going to be theirs too. I dunno, I love them all!
