I became a vegetarian my senior year of high school. I did it for the treatment of animals too and will never again be able to watch those videos but it definitely keeps me motivated to stay vegetarian. I also eat fish too but very rarely and it has to be good like some baked salmon or something. I tried the vegan thing a few years back and it only lasted a couple months. But i do try and buy organic cage free eggs and milk. I found this amazing blog the other day called http://aurajoon.blogspot.com/ and if you go to her food section she has great cooking ideas and stuff about gardening under her gardening section. She is all about clean food... meaning as from the ground to your mouth as possible. I know it isn't plausible for me to have a garden right now but I hope to one day. I love love love her fresh recipes and can't wait to try them. I totally agree that it has become more and more about the health aspect as well over the years and it feels good to go to bed at night having a light conscience. Over the next few years I can definitely see myself working towards a more clean vegetarian diet. I think that there is always a balance to find where you feel comfortable and that is the most important because it means longevity and that you are more likely to stick with it. That's why I tell people who think they can't cut out meat completely to just make some adjustments and that in the long run that makes a difference also. glad to find fellow veg heads around me. keep it up!Born of the Seahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08853826260877816533noreply@blogger.com
